Privacy Policy

RankUp Chess is built to teach chess. It does not require an account and it does not collect personal information.

What the app stores

Your name, avatar, settings, ratings, lesson progress, puzzle history, and saved games are stored only on your device (in the app's local storage or your browser's local storage). They are never sent to us. Deleting the app, or using "Reset all progress" in Settings, erases them.

What the app does not do

• No accounts, no sign in, no email collection.
• No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• No third-party data sharing or selling.
• The chess engine, puzzles, and lessons run entirely on your device. No game data leaves it.

Network use

The app works offline once installed. If you open a link to an external site (for example the Lichess puzzle source), that site's own privacy policy applies.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
